Ingredients
5 lb Wholesome Pantry Organic Yukon gold potatoes, peeled, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 1/2 cups Wholesome Pantry Organic chicken broth
1/4 cup Wholesome Pantry Organic butter
1 cup Wholesome Pantry Organic yogurt
1 tsp Wholesome Pantry garlic powder
1 tsp Wholesome Pantry onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 to 1 cup Bowl & Basket buttermilk, warmed
Directions

1. In 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, place potatoes, chicken broth and butter.

 

2. Cover; cook on High heat setting 4 hours to 4 hours 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

 

3. Add remaining ingredients except milk. Mash potatoes using potato masher, or beat with electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Do not over mix. Stir in enough buttermilk for desired consistency.

 

4. Cover and keep warm on Low or Warm heat setting until serving time, up to 2 hours. Stir before serving.

 

Sweet Potato Variation: swap in sweet potatoes and stir in a few tsp of browned butter and a sprinkling of sage
