Spicy Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients
3 tbsp avocado oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 lb jumbo head-on shrimp, deveined
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
2 tbsp serrano pepper, minced
2 tsp lime zest
1 tsp ancho chili powder
1/4 tsp kosher salt
lemon/lime wedges for serving (optional)
Directions
- In large skillet, heat oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and garlic; cook and stir 3 minutes or until shrimp turn opaque throughout, stirring frequently.
- Stir in cilantro, serrano pepper, lime zest, chile powder, and 1salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; remove from heat and immediately transfer to serving plate.
- Serve shrimp mixture garnished with lemon and/or lime wedges, if desired.
