½ jar Barilla® Rustic Basil Pesto
2 pre-baked pizza crust
1 pint multi-color cherry tomatoes, halved
½ pound cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
6 ounces cooked cremini mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
8 ounces goat cheese
¼ cup fresh basil, sliced thin
Sea salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425° F. spread pesto on pizza crusts.
  2. In a skillet over medium-heat add olive oil and mushrooms. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add sausage. Cook sausage until done, 2-3 minutes.
  3. Top pizza crusts with sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, and goat cheese. Bake until cheese is melted and browned, about 8 to 10 minutes. Garnish with Parmigiano cheese and basil.
