Cinnamon Toast Crunchâ„¢ French Toast

Ingredients
1 large egg
1 1/4 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
1 cup of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, in little pieces
1 teaspoon of butter
4 slices of sandwich bread or French bread
1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
Powdered sugar, optional
Directions
- Mix the eggs with the milk, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
 - Spread the cereal around in a shallow dish.
 - Heat the griddle or pan with 1 tablespoon of butter.
 - Cover each piece of bread in strawberry cream cheese.
 - Soak both sides in the extra mixture and pass through the cinnamon toast crunch applying pressure so that the cereal adheres.
 - Cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side until the toasts begin to turn golden brown. Use a spatula to carefully remove the pieces of toast from the griddle or pan and sprinkle with honey or syrup. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like. Serve hot.
